I will work to ensure that EU schemes for Microfinance and Credit are widely advertised and made accessible across the region.

I will work to ensure that microfinance available under the EU Programme for Social Change and Innovation is accessible to our unemployed people seeking work.

I will work to make the Microfinance facility and Social Entrepreneurship fund available to people with difficulties in securing a traditional bank loan, who need better access to microcredit to become self-employed or set up their own business.

I believe the local network of credit unions could be an effective way to disperse funds under this scheme. I will work to ensure that the availability of funds is advertised and targeted to those struggling to access credit to keep small businesses open.
